Star-studded Tigers win another title

Wheaton Warrenville South’s boys volleyball dynasty is filled with many standouts. In Saturday's state title game, Kevin Mueller, Neill Nystrom, Rob Samp and Joe Kelly starred, as the Tigers rolled to their fourth state title in five years with a 25-15, 25-20 victory over Buffalo Grove.
Volleyball 'OK' despite lack of female officials

According to figures provided by the IHSA, only 10 percent of the approximately 14,000 licensed high school officials in Illinois are women, and their numbers are dwindling. But volleyball is in good shape.
Calm and cool Celtics collect historic victory

Powered by Eric Daliege, Providence rallied for a 25-18, 18-25, 28-26 win over Glenbrook North Friday in the state quarterfinals at Hoffman Estates. With the victory, the Celtics tied a school record for wins and earned the first boys volleyball trophy in school history.
